I offer a combination treatment in each session; made up of acupuncture and bodywork, for their synergistic effect. Having had a background in Shiatsu (a Japanese form of acupressure and massage) inspired me to take a slightly different approach to acupuncture. A few minutes of Shiatsu at the beginning of each session allows me to do a direct, touch-based assessment of the body, while being able to unblock congested areas that may not respond best to needles.
I hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Traditional Chinese medicine from Middlesex University of the UK (2008) and a diploma in Shiatsu (2007). I’m fully insured and a member of the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture (ATCM).
I’ve had the opportunity to train with some excellent practitioners in my field in my postgraduate studies. I’ve been treating patients with a wide variety of conditions in different settings and countries, as well as using acupuncture in its preventative capacity.
