Clinical Skills Courses: Small Group Training

Currently recruiting for:

A Small Group Training on Ashi Treatment  on Wednesday mornings.

2 Small Group Trainings on Palpation and Bodywork, one on Wednesday mornings and one on Friday mornings.

Exact dates to be finalised with attendees. Email info@yidaoclinic.co.uk if you are interested in joining one of these groups.

We offer 4 short courses to develop clinical skills and help practitioners become more comfortable with working hands-on with the patient. The skills we teach are ones we use every day in clinic, and attendees can be assured that they will feed into every patient encounter that they have.

The short courses are taught on 4 half days, over 4 weeks. This allows attendees to learn the skills with us, then practice them by themselves, and come back for feedback and further teaching the following week. We have found that this creates the best teaching experience that allows attendees to develop tangible skills during our month together.

All our courses include a DaoYin (Qi Gong) set, the 8 Storing Qi and Developing Sensitivity Practices. This is a DaoYin practice which directly feeds into the taught hand skills. Throughout the courses, the links between the DaoYin and the taught skills are explained and shown.

We like to work with groups of 4 attendees over the month, to make sure there is plenty of time for feedback for each person and we can give individual explanations and guidance. We ask potential attendees to contact us in groups of 4 with their availability, so that we can schedule the 4 half-days at a mutually convenient time. Alternatively, if you do not have a group of people to learn with, please contact us with your availability and we will do our best to add you into a group.
